Everyone loves cake, whether it’s a sponge, carrot, gateau or cupcake. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust wants you to grab a slice of the action by using cakes to help raise vital funds for medical research in The Big Cake Bake!
The Big Cake Bake launches this CF Fundraising Week (17-23 May) when people all over the UK will be holding coffee mornings and cake sales at work, school or home to raise money for the CF Trust. All you need is a venue, large slices of cake, plenty of liquid refreshment and generous guests! If you’re no great shakes at baking, you can always nip to the shops to buy some. You can host your event during CF Fundraising Week or at any other time convenient to you. Get the kettle on and join in the fun.
Cystic Fibrosis is the one of the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited diseases and affects the lungs and digestive system. Each week five babies are born with CF and sadly three young people die from the disease. The CF Trust funds research to treat Cystic Fibrosis, it works to improve the care of those with CF and provides support to families across the country.
